Entrepreneurship in Engineering
The Rice University student chapters of the materials science (ASM/TMS) and mechanical engineering (ASME) societies would like to invite you to attend a half-day conference on "Entrepreneurship in Engineering" to be held on Tuesday, April 3rd from 1pm-5pm in the Rice Memorial Center (RMC) Grand Hall. Our speakers include distinguished entrepreneurs from the Houston area with close ties to the Rice University community. The Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, the University's principal organization devoted to the synergy between technology and entrepreneurship, will also be represented.
For ASM members and students, the conference will be followed by the April meeting of the ASM Houston Chapter which will be held at Rice University's Cohen House. A cocktail reception will begin at 5:30pm and will be followed by dinner and a presentation by our honored guest speaker, Philip Lewis, who will present a talk titled "Entrepreneurial Business Strategy and the Business Plan."
