High Strength Tubulars for Sour Service Applications
Bruce Urband is a degreed Metallurgical Engineer from the University of Oklahoma (1974) and a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Bruce has held positions as Plant Metallurgist, Quality Assurance Manager and Operation Manager of several oil tool and pipe producers over the last 20 years. Bruce has held the position of Assistant Director of the American Petroleum’s Production Department, in Dallas from 1983 to 1988 and was responsible of all tubular good standards and research during his tenure. Currently Bruce is the Engineering Manager-TCA Product Group for Grant Prideco LP, the leading producer of high performance down hole tubulars and drill stem products.
