Applicants must:
1. Be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student.
2. Be enrolled in a college of engineering or science. (Graduate students must be enrolled in a Materials Science and Engineering program.)
3. Maintain at least a “C” grade average.
4. Be a citizen of the United States of America OR an ASM member
Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in materials science, academic excellence,financial need, and Texas residency.
C.F. Lewis Memorial Fund
Applicants must:
1. Be enrolled in a college of engineering or science.
2. Show an active interest in materials science.
3. Use the funds for the final two years of undergraduate study.
4. Be in the family of a Houston Chapter, ASM-International member OR a Texas resident at an eligible Texas college of engineering or science.
5. Maintain at least a “C” grade average.
6. Be a citizen of the United States of America.
