National Bronze and Metals is pleased to announce an evening of technical seminars on both continuous casting and direct extrusion of copper alloys. National currently possesses modern versatile mills capable of producing a comprehensive range of copper and copper alloy rod, bar, wire, sections and hollow bar. Facilities also exist to produce brass and bronze alloy forgings, both solid and cored, from simple to complex shapes – to a customers specifications. Processes for both horizontal and vertical continuous casting and direct and indirect rod extrusion will be discussed, and examples of materials applications will be provided.

Andy’s value lies in his unsurpassed combination of experience in both the sales and technical aspects of thecopper & brass industry. He has held positions of distinction such as Field Engineer, District Manager, Director of Sales, and Sales & Marketing Manager, with three leading bronze foundries here in the US, one amongst them being Ampco Metals. Over the past 25 years, Andy has developed a trademark approach in selling copper based alloys through technical sales seminars. He has in-depth technical experience with casting design and in working with customers to achieve finished brass rod products for extruded shapes, sand & centrifugal castings, permanent mold, welding of dissimilar metals, and screw machine components.
