Who Should Enroll: Metal processing personnel, machine shop superintendents, QA managers, heat treating operators and managers, component designers, technicians, marketing writers and individuals without a materials background wishing to better understand the role of materials science. This course provides understandings of what metals are, how they behave, and why they behave differently than non-metallic materials. This course will show how metals are processed to yield desired properties.
