About Michael Pendley: Michael Pendley holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in metallurgical engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and the University of Tennessee, respectively. Michael has over 40 years of experience including senior metallurgical posts at several large OEM’s including Cameron, Schlumberger, and NOV. Michael is a former chairman of the Houston Chapter of ASM International and is a life member of the American Welding Society. He is an adjunct professor of Metallurgy at Lone Star College and teaches continuing education courses at ASM International. Michael has extensive experience in heat treating including the operation of in-house heat treating facilities at several OEM’s. Michael is the General Manager of National Heat Treat.
